Gastroenterologist
Dr Koh earned his degree from the University of New South Wales in 2009 and underwent comprehensive training in various metropolitan and regional hospitals. His journey culminated with the completion of the final year of Gastroenterology and Hepatology training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.
In 2018, Dr Koh assumed the role of a staff specialist Gastroenterologist at the Gold Coast University Hospital. Family considerations led him to relocate and establish himself in Brisbane, where he currently holds public appointments at Logan and Redland Hospitals.
With a broad expertise in Gastroenterology, Dr Koh has a particular interest in quality colonoscopy and bowel cancer screening Proficient in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and accredited for small bowel capsule endoscopy, he remains dedicated to advancing gastrointestinal care. Dr Koh especially prides himself with high adenoma detection rate.
Fluent in Mandarin, Dr Koh’s ability to communicate effectively extends to patients from Chinese non-English-speaking backgrounds, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive healthcare experience.
Outside work, Dr Koh loves spending quality time with his wife and young daughter. Other times, he enjoys maintaining his lawn and garden at home.
